Meet Danielle – From Defying the Odds to Creating Impact
Danielle is a Derby-based motivational speaker, children’s author, and creative producer whose journey is defined by resilience, purpose, and a powerful belief in human potential. Her story begins not in success, but in survival, born weighing just 1lb 4oz, the size of her father’s hand, and given only a 0–5% chance of survival.
Today, she uses her voice and creativity to uplift others, reminding people that where you begin does not determine where you can go. Through her work, she has built a platform rooted in hope, one that encourages people to keep going, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Her creative portfolio includes the short film Women of Impact, which reached 7th place in the Apple and iTunes short film charts between 2016–2020, as well as her work as a children’s author. But for Danielle, these achievements are never just about recognition, they are about impact.
At the heart of her current work is a deeply personal mission, supporting the NICU community through a premature baby clothing line, launching on Etsy next spring. Inspired by her own beginnings, the project is designed to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to families navigating some of the most fragile moments of their lives.
She draws inspiration from voices that use their platforms to empower others and create space for underrepresented stories, and she carries that same energy into her own work, especially within communities that are often overlooked or under-supported.
Danielle’s story is ultimately about transformation, turning survival into purpose, and purpose into action.
