Meet Conor – The Founder Turning Childhood Memories Into a Family Brand

We’re delighted to announce that Conor Jaafari, Founder and CEO of Cozy Crew Club, will be joining The Legacy Bench as a podcast panel guest at our University of Manchester event on Friday 18th September 2026.

Conor has built Cozy Crew Club around a simple but powerful idea: everyone deserves a little more comfort in their lives.

But the story behind the brand starts long before the business.

It begins with a childhood teddy bear.

For Conor, that much-loved bear represented safety, warmth, comfort, and the kind of memories that stay with you long after childhood has passed. Years later, that same feeling became the inspiration behind Cozy Crew Clu, a family brand created to bring that sense of comfort to a new generation.

Founded in 2020, Cozy Crew Club began with a vision of creating soft, comfortable and thoughtfully designed essentials for families. Today, the brand offers everything from sleepsuits and rompers to blankets, pramsuits, pyjamas and personalised gifts, with products designed around the idea of making everyday family moments a little cozier.

But Conor’s journey is about more than creating children’s clothing.

It is about turning an emotional connection into a recognisable brand.

At the heart of Cozy Crew Club is the belief that products can carry meaning. A baby blanket can become a keepsake. A favourite outfit can become part of a childhood memory. A familiar design can create a sense of comfort and belonging.

That emotional connection has helped the brand build a loyal customer community while attracting attention well beyond its own audience.

Cozy Crew Club products have been spotted with high-profile names including Molly-Mae Hague, Lindsay Lohan, Ferne McCann and other public figures, giving the small family-focused brand significant exposure.

But for Conor, building a successful brand isn’t simply about visibility.

It is about creating something people genuinely care about.

That philosophy can be seen throughout the business, from personalised embroidery and thoughtful product design to the emphasis placed on customer service and quality. Cozy Crew Club describes its approach as creating products that feel special and personal to each family.

There is also a wider purpose behind the brand.

Through its monthly donations, Cozy Crew Club supports efforts to fight childhood hunger by providing meals to children in Rwanda. For Conor, the idea of spreading warmth goes beyond the products themselves, it is about creating a positive impact through the business.

And now, as a father himself, Conor sees the original vision from a completely different perspective.

The childhood memory that inspired the company has become something he can now share with his own child.

That makes the story behind Cozy Crew Club particularly powerful.

What began with one person’s memory of comfort has evolved into a growing family brand built around helping other families create memories of their own.

At The Legacy Bench – University of Manchester Edition, Conor will join fellow entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives and emerging leaders on our podcast panel, sharing his experience of entrepreneurship, building a consumer brand, creating emotional connections with customers, and turning a simple idea into a business.

Expect an honest conversation about what it really takes to build a brand from the ground up — from finding the original idea and creating something people connect with, to navigating growth, visibility, competition and the realities of running a business.

Conor’s story is a reminder that the strongest brands aren’t always built around complicated ideas.

Sometimes, they start with something incredibly simple.

A memory. A feeling. And a desire to give other people the chance to experience it too.

We’re excited to welcome Conor of Cozy Crew Club to The Legacy Bench – University of Manchester Edition on Friday 18th September 2026.

Because sometimes, building a successful business starts with remembering what made you feel at home in the first place.
