Meet Grant — The Entrepreneur Creating His Own Path Through Architecture, Business, and Reinvention

Grant Erskine is a Chartered Architect, entrepreneur, and creative business leader whose career has been shaped by resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge conventional routes to success. Having established his own architectural practice at just 30 years old, Grant became one of the UK’s youngest Chartered Architects to launch an independent firm.
But his journey did not follow a traditional path.
After leaving school midway through his A-levels to begin working, Grant did not enter university until the age of 23. Seven years later, he had qualified as an architect and built a business of his own, proving that where a person begins does not determine where they can go.
At the heart of Grant’s journey is a powerful belief: success comes from backing yourself, embracing change, and having the courage to begin again when circumstances demand it.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Grant has built businesses across architecture, DJing, entertainment, events, training, and publishing. His ability to move between industries reflects a natural instinct for recognising opportunities, taking calculated risks, and turning creative ideas into tangible ventures.
Whether he is designing buildings, developing brands, or creating new businesses, Grant approaches every project with energy, commercial awareness, and a strong sense of personal responsibility. He believes that adaptability is one of the most important qualities an entrepreneur can develop, particularly when plans change or unexpected challenges arise.
Driven by the values of honesty, integrity, and honour, Grant is equally passionate about helping others rise. His philosophy is not simply to succeed individually, but to use experience, knowledge, and opportunity to pull others up along the way.
Inspired by figures such as Jeremy Clarkson, Jimmy Carr, and Gordon Ramsay, Grant admires people who combine professional success with authenticity, resilience, and support for meaningful causes. He values individuals who use their influence for good and remain unapologetically themselves while doing it.
But Grant’s mission extends beyond business achievement. He is committed to building an exciting and fulfilling life, recognising that money should enable meaningful experiences rather than become the sole purpose behind them.
His mindset is simple but powerful: do not live to make money, make money to live, create, and help others move forward.
Three Words To Describe Grant: Honourable. Relentless. Energetic.
Grant joins The Legacy Bench ready to share the lessons behind his unconventional journey, connect with ambitious founders and creators, and inspire others to build their own future with courage, integrity, and determination.
