Jordan Gaffney is a dynamic radio presenter, musician, and the unmistakable voice behind The Indie Rock Show. With a career rooted deeply in the UK’s music scene, Jordan has grown from grassroots beginnings into one of the most dedicated champions of indie rock culture.
A musician since the age of 14, Jordan has performed at venues and festivals across the country, living the true artist’s journey — from playing empty pub rooms to stepping onto festival stages. When the pandemic hit and live gigs crumbled, Jordan didn’t stop. Instead, he rebuilt from scratch, launching a volunteer-led radio show that would eventually grow into an influential media platform.
Today, The Indie Rock Show reaches national and international listeners. Jordan and his team have covered some of the UK’s biggest music festivals — including BBC Big Weekend — as well as major festivals abroad. The show is also the official media outlet for the UK Festival Awards, giving Jordan access to some of the biggest names in indie and alternative music.
Jordan’s mission is simple:
to showcase the best music by the best artists, give a platform to emerging talent, and bring listeners closer to the heartbeat of the music they love.
